Mr. Migraine’s Silver Hammer

The weather’s turned around for another cold-snap consistent with the rain stopping at least until Friday, and I’m sure there’s something in the change of weather that does something that makes the right hemisphere of my cranium ache like a stubbed toe. (hemi-cranium from which we get mi – cran = migraine in classic Cambridge slang form, though this time the shortening dates back to classic Rome or even Athens, long before Cambridge was knocking words about the field like pig-leather exercise balls.)

My head is not responding to analgesics which means neither fun nor games nor writing are going to happen for me in favor of that desensitization chamber I call a bed.

Until tomorrow.
